It’s the ladies underwear stall in St. George’s Market, Belfast.
Sketchy, ‘scribbly’ mark-making results in an energetic painted study which also features a suggestion of the interior of St, George’s Market building.
A limited palette consists mainly of blue, white and neutral tones. Layers of piled up underwear on the table coincide with a subtle layer of humour.
I can’t help but love this wee woman with her wheelie shopping bag, walking stick, anorak, wide skirt and wide ankles.

Prints come in 5 approximate sizes:
- A0: 841 x 1189mm
- A1: 594 x 841mm
- A2: 420 x 594 mm
- A3: 297 x 420 mm
- A4: 210 x 297 mm
Please note, these are approximate sizes. The final size of the print will depend on the aspect ratio and size of the original painting. Not all prints are available in all sizes. The available sizes can be found in the “Size” dropdown above.
Delivery charges will added at checkout, and are calculated according to shipping address. Large prints (A0, A1, A2) are shipped rolled in strong-walled postal tubes. Small prints (A3, A4) are shipped strong cardboard flat envelopes. Originals are carefully boxed & packaged. A tracking number is emailed to the customer at time of posting. Una’s Fine Art Giclée prints are produced using German etching or Photo Art Silk paper and pigment inks that are museum quality.
Each limited edition print has a surrounding white border and Una signs, numbers and titles each one.

It is highly recommended that they are brought to a local framer for a professional and well protected finish. We can provide advice on framing options on request.
