Black Taxi Man And Buggy
Fine Art Belfast Print
The typical child’s buggy sticks out of the West Belfast black taxi boot and a ciggie hangs from the taxi man’s mouth.
Mono-chrome colours dominate with just a flash of yellow representing the taxi’s registration plate.
Suggestions of traffic lights are apparent in the background.
A contrasting subtle layer of humour is evident too.

Black Taxi Man And Buggy
The taxi man is about to lift the buggy out of the boot for a mother.
His character inspiration is similar to that of ‘Falls Taxi Man’.
Same typical dark baggy jacket and patterned woollen jumper.
His mouth grasps and controls the cigarette as he continues to hold a conversation easily through it.
He hands over the buggy.
‘Alright love’
