Bull Calf 2019

Fine Art Calf Print

‘Bull Calf 2019’ is a strong and contented looking fella.

His defiant gaze and quirky pose makes him a fabulous focal point in any room.

He is particularly dominant and commands the room when reproduced in the larger scale versions of this print.

He has been created from an extensive palette of contemporary hues.

Who would have imagined that such an adventurous arrangement of colours would fuse together to represent this stoic character!

The story behind...

Bull Calf 2019

I can’t help but smile to myself when I stare back at this bull calf.

I detect a certain layer of humour in his demeanour – there’s an almost caricature element to him.

His legs suggest that he is on the move…slowing making his way around the field, only glancing up momentarily.

I’m pleased with the contrasting tonal range in this piece.

Extremes of light and dark contribute to the impact it has on a wall space all resulting in an eye-catching and striking focal point.
