The colour palette is contemporary consisting of fresh blues, teals, ‘zingy’ lime greens and neutral tones.
Delivery charges will added at checkout, and are calculated according to shipping address. Large prints (A0, A1, A2) are shipped rolled in strong-walled postal tubes. Small prints (A3, A4) are shipped strong cardboard flat envelopes. Originals are carefully boxed & packaged. A tracking number is emailed to the customer at time of posting. Proud Dog
My intention wasn’t to capture the characteristics of any particular breed of dog in this study.
Instead, I poured paint, made marks and kept certain ‘mistakes’ to see what type of canine would emerge!
A rather distinguished character gradually appeared.
I became interested in his proud pose and I sensed pride and gentleness in his eyes too.
He could be the dog that sits at the top of a laneway or doorstep protecting it and waiting for his owners return.
This dog has a deep sense of belonging.
I imagine him to be devoted to his owner and reacting excitedly on his return.
Proud Dog’ represents for me that special bond between human and dog.
He has all those qualities that we are so grateful for in our canine friends.
